In 2015-16: Wrestled four bouts at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic… went 2-2 with opening round win by fall.
In 2014-15: Posted 3-6 record competing at 149… entered Binghamton, East Stroudsburg and Millersville Opens… competed at Southern Scuffle, going 0-2… won first two official bouts of season at Bearcat Open.
In 2013-14: Started four duals… posted 6-9 overall record, primarily at 157… competed in Clarion, Binghamton, Franklin and Marshall and Edinboro Opens… made varsity dual debut up at 165 against Penn… defeated Tyler Grimaldi of Harvard 10-7 for first career dual win on final day of regular season.
In 2012-13: Went 10-11 in first season on the wrestling team… competed in six open tournaments… nine of ten wins were bonus wins, including eight by fall… won three matches with two pins and a technical fall at East Stroudsburg Open… also competed at Clarion, Binghamton, Penn State, Wilkes and Millersville.
In 2011-12: Was not a member of the wrestling team.
In secondary school: Amassed record of 131-18 with 93 falls… all-time wins leader for Governor Livingston HS… team captain as a senior and junior… three-time county champion… two-time district champion… member of varsity athletic honor society and Mu Alpha Theta Math Club.
Personal: Son of Robert and Rosemary Stepien... sister Kayla (16) and brother Jeffrey (12)… enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching movies and sports.
