Why Lehigh? “I chose to attend Lehigh because it has a highly respected academic and athletic reputation. I also liked that it was close to home, had a great business program, as well as an amazing wrestling program.”
In 2023-24: Moved up to 174 midseason where he represented Mountain Hawks at EIWA Championships… went 2-2 at EIWA Tournament with a technical fall… opened season with 5-1 showing at 165 at David H. Lehman F&M Open… knocked off Cornell’s Benny Baker 10-4 in debut at 174 to key dual win over Big Red in January… beat Princeton’s Mikey Squires on senior night.
In 2022-23: Went 17-11 in 28 bouts at 165… earned spot at 165 for EIWA Championships, where he went 1-2… went 1-2 in dual competition with victory at Bucknell… competed in five open tournaments, placing in three… claimed fifth place at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic and Mat Town Open II… finished sixth at Edinboro Open.
In 2021-22: Deferred eligibility… went 8-8 competing unattached in open tournaments… competed at Clarion, Franklin & Marshall and Edinboro Opens, plus Journeymen Collegiate Classic and Illinois Matmen Open… finished third at 165 at Clarion and fourth at 174 at Edinboro.
