Bio
WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because of the challenging academic environment and competitive athletic program complemented by the beautiful campus.”
ON COACH LAMBINUS: “Coach Lambinus brings a lot of energy to our program. He has embraced our goals and demands of a hard work environment in order to reach our potential.”
ON PLAYING SOCCER AT LEHIGH: “The Lehigh soccer experience has helped me grow tremendously as a student and an athlete. While playing for Coach Lambinus this fall, I am excited to get after our goals.”
AS A SENIOR (2011): Team co-captain … Impressed at both ends of the field, posting a career-high five points (two goals, one assist), second on the team … The two goals came on only five shots … Both were game-winning goals … Also part of a defense which allowed just 20 goals in 17 games (1.18 average), including one stretch of three straight shutouts mid-season … Was presented the Coaches Award at the team’s annual end-of-season banquet … Dished an assist on the game’s only goal against eventual Patriot League finalist Navy (10/9) … Just two days earlier, scored the game-winning goal vs. American (10/7) … Netted second-career goal and first since 2009 in the home opener against Binghamton (9/2) … Earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week laurels on Sept. 6 ... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Started all 20 games in the back ... Part of a strong defense which allowed only 21 goals in 20 games, three over the final four games and 15 over the final 17 … That included one stretch of three straight shutouts bridging the end of the regular season and the entire Patriot League Tournament. In that stretch, the Mountain Hawks shut-out Lafayette, Bucknell (semifinals) and Army (championship game), all by identical 1-0 finals ... Named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20 after a game-saving play against Marist (9/17) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Started in all 18 games on defense … Scored first collegiate goal against Cornell (9/11).
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Saw action in one game.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Four-year varsity letterwinner… Also lettered in lacrosse … Club team reached National Finals in 2005 … Member of the National Honor Society.
