Why Lehigh?: “One of the reasons why I chose Lehigh was because of the people. Meeting Coach Lynch and the team, I knew that was where I wanted to be. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel like part of a family, even though I had just met them. I am so blessed and grateful to have this opportunity.”
As a senior: Saw only action at Lehigh Invitational, carding rounds of 99 and 93… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a junior: Played seven rounds, spanning three tournaments… tied for 55th at Lehigh Invitational at 167 (82-85)… also competed at Rutgers Invitational and Navy Spring Invitational… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Played eight competitive rounds over four tournaments… best 36-hole score was 171 at Lehigh Invitational (84-87) where she tied for 71st… finished 39th at SMSU Spring Classic in lone spring semester appearance… shot season-low 83 in final round of SHU Fall Classic… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a first-year: Played three competitive rounds, covering Lehigh Invitational and SHU Spring Invitational… shot 82 in round one of Lehigh Invitational.
Before Lehigh: First female to play on Gill Saint Bernards men’s varsity golf team… owns tournament low round of 69… tied for 10th in the New Jersey Tournament of Champions… AP Scholar.
Personal: Daughter of Yuping Chen and Jingping Chang.
