Bio
WHY LEHIGH?:
Lehigh is a prestigious business school and I wanted to learn from Coach Koski and to be near my family.
ON COACH KOSKI:
He is experienced, knows how to win, and can bring the best out of his players.
2019 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Strong season as a primary back in the starting lineup, making a start in all 20 games as a defender…helped anchor a backfield that shut out 10 opponents throughout the season, leading the Patriot League for the second straight season…registered three shots, including two on goal…made an unbelievable team save in the closing minutes of the Patriot League Championship Game vs. Lafayette (11/16), using his knee on the end-line to preserve the victory, resulting in the team’s third-ever league title…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Played five games in his rookie season, began the season in the starting lineup, making two starts...Did not see action after Sept. 15 matchup vs. Penn...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
CAREER STATISTICS
BEFORE LEHIGH:
Justin was a 2017 First Team All-Suburban One League selection at Council Rock North High School. In 2017, Justin won the EPYSA State Cup Championship with Patriot FC and also competed in the USYSA Eastern Regional League and Regional Championships.

2018 (FRESHMAN SEASON)?? It's not often you see this: A championship won on a late save by a defender. Justin Scharf remained in position to make one of the biggest saves in @LehighMSoccer history. It's our No. 1 @PatriotLeague men's soccer play from 2019.#PatriotMSOC | @Stadium | @NCAASoccer pic.twitter.com/0jYNhUUmzl
