AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Strong freshman season, playing in 10 games (second most among rookies), including two starts … Started two of the final three games of the season … Finished with six groundballs and four caused turnovers … Scooped a pair of groundballs in the regular season finale against Lafayette (4/23) … Posted a caused turnover in consecutive games, against #12 Bucknell (4/15) and #9 North Carolina (4/17) … Groundball and caused turnover at #13 Ohio State (3/8) … Career-high three groundballs, with a caused turnover, two days earlier at Detroit Mercy (3/6).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Three varsity letters in lacrosse at South River High School … Starting defenseman on the 2009 Maryland State 4A Championship Team … Adidas All-America selection and Second Team All-County Coaches’ Designation that year as well … Served as a senior captain in 2010 … Was a First Team All-Capital-Gazette honoree and C. Markland Kelly Award finalist … Maryland All-State defenseman, member of MD State All-Star Team and AACO Bilderback All-Star Team in 2010 … Also swam as a freshman, garnering First Team All-MIAA … Was a swimming nationals qualifier … Active outside of playing career, serving as volunteer coach for Adaptive Lacrosse (lacrosse for those with disabilities) … Has also volunteer coached for girls’ basketball and boys’ lacrosse … Honor Roll student all four years … Garnered Minds in Motion Scholar Athlete Award three years.
