AS A JUNIOR (2012): Named a Second Team All-Patriot League honoree … Finished the season winning 50 percent of his faceoffs (141-282), scooping 97 groundballs to up his career total to 239 … Also scored two goals and added an assist … Named a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse … Named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List … Earned a spot on the Patriot League All-Tournament Team … Won nine faceoffs in NCAA First Round Game vs. #10 Maryland (5/13), while scoring a key goal to give Lehigh a 7-6 lead … Stellar bounceback in Patriot League Title Game at #10 Colgate (4/29), winning 15-of-32 faceoffs, including numerous in crunch time. Scooped nine groundballs to earn All-Tourney honors … Won 9-of-15 faceoffs while scooping seven groundballs in regular season finale at Lafayette (4/21) … Impressed in winning 13-of-18 faceoffs with five GBs vs. #18 Bucknell (4/14). Also scored a key game-tying goal in the closing minutes … Recovered from slow start to win 8-of-14 faceoffs at #19 Navy (3/30) while scooping seven groundballs … Strong bounceback game, winning 11-of-16 with seven groundballs vs. Holy Cross (3/24) … Impressed against one of the nation’s top faceoff men in R.G. Keenan of #4 UNC (3/3), winning 13-of-20 with 10 groundballs as part of thrilling 9-8 win … Stellar effort at #19 Penn (2/28), winning 12-of-17 faceoffs with eight groundballs … Began 2012 by winning 14-of-19 faceoffs, while scooping a career-high 14 groundballs at Saint Joseph’s (2/11) ... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Emerged as the team’s primary faceoff specialist … First Team All-Patriot League honoree after winning 61.6 percent of his draws (173-of-281), tops in the league and ninth in the nation … Also scooped a school and Patriot League record 118 groundballs. Stood fourth nationally in groundballs per game … Finished with four points on the season via three goals and an assist … Stellar in the Patriot League Semifinals at #12 Bucknell (4/29), winning 12-of-18 faceoffs while scooping eight groundballs. Also assisted on the game’s first goal, only seven seconds into the contest … Finished 7-of-13 with six groundballs vs. Lafayette (4/23) … 10-of-20 against #12 Bucknell (4/15) along with six groundballs to eclipse 100 for the season … Finished 10-of-19 vs. #20 Penn State while scooping seven groundballs … Won an incredible 90 percent (18-of-20) of his faceoffs vs. Binghamton (3/29) while tying a career-high 13 groundballs … Finished 7-of-15 at the faceoff X with six groundballs at Holy Cross (3/26) … Won 9-of-20 draws, scooped eight groundballs and scored third goal of the season at #8 Army (3/22) … Finished 13-of-15 along with nine groundballs against Presbyterian (3/19). For his efforts, he was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the second time … Earned honorable mention on the Patriot League Weekly Honor Roll (Mar. 7) ... Won 14-of-18 faceoffs while scooping 10 groundballs at Detroit Mercy (3/6). Marked his fourth straight game with 10 or more groundballs … Won 18-of-27 faceoffs against Navy (3/1), scooping a career-high 13 groundballs and scoring a crucial third-quarter goal … Was honored with the season’s first Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honor on Feb. 21 … Scored a goal, while winning 16-of-21 faceoffs at Villanova (2/19) … Opened the season by winning 17-of-21 against Saint Joseph’s (2/12).
AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Saw time in 13 games, starting one … Recorded one assist … Scooped up 24 groundballs … Member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Three-time varsity letterwinner … Team captain …. Team MVP … First Team All-Western New England … Runner-up for Midfielder of the Year ... Team’s leading scorer with 32 goals and 16 assists … Picked up 182 ground balls and won 187-of-245 face-offs … Also captain of the hockey team … Member of the honor roll.
