WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because of its strong, positive atmosphere. Lehigh not only has great athletics combined with intense academics, but it also has a gorgeous campus where I can see myself succeeding.”
ON COACH CASSESE: “My coach is one of the biggest, if not the biggest reasons why I came to Lehigh. He wants his players to want to be there, which is why he didn’t give me a time limit on when he needed me to commit. He’s easy to talk to and has a humble persona, but you can tell he is determined to succeed and bring his team to new heights.”
AS A SENIOR (2012): Finished season with a career-high 20 goals and 26 points, good for third on the team … Posted multiple points in five of final six games … Named a First Team All-Patriot League honoree … Also an Academic All-Patriot League member for a second straight season … Team co-captain, with twin brother Cameron and Blaise Fullen … Finished season with 13 groundballs and three caused turnovers … Led the team with 89 shots … Played in all 17 games, starting 16 … Had a goal and assist in NCAA First Round Game vs. #10 Maryland (5/13) … Scored a pair of goals in Patriot League Title Game at #10 Colgate (4/29) … Goal and assist in semifinal win vs. #19 Army (4/27) … Monster Senior Night game vs. #18 Bucknell (4/14), posting two goals and an assist with a career-high 10 shots … Tied career high in goals with second-career hat trick at #17 Colgate (4/7).
