ON COACH CASSESE: “Coach Cassese has a passion to win and educate his players in the game of lacrosse.”
AS A JUNIOR (2011): Played in seven games on the season, scoring a goal while adding two groundballs … Goal came at Detroit Mercy (3/6) in his first game in nearly two years … Added a groundball against #9 North Carolina (4/17) and in the regular season finale vs. Lafayette (4/23) … Also played against Presbyterian (3/19), Colgate (4/9), Bucknell (4/15) and at Holy Cross (3/26) … Member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Sat out due to injury.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Saw time in eight games, starting one … Scored one goal, against Villanova.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Was a two-time All-State selection … Two-time captain and team MVP … Dean’s List all four years … Honor student at Choate Rosemary Hall.
PERSONAL: Son of Jen Donovan. Has two sisters - Rebecca and Kelly.
