BEFORE LEHIGH Played attack at Brother Rice in Ortonville, Mich. Earned All-American honors, first team All-State, All-Catholic recognition, and was named Offensive MVP. Also a two-time state champion and served as team captain. Competed at the club level with Cherries. Lettered in football. A native of Ortonville, Mich., Polonkey is the son of Tim and Steph Polonkey and comes from a lacrosse family, with his brother Hunter currently at Lehigh.
