ON COACH CASSESE: “Coach Cassese does not only seem to be extremely motivated and enthusiastic about doing great things on the field, but also has a genuine concern about each player’s success in every aspect of life.”
AS A SENIOR (2012): Strong senior season, playing in a career-high seven games while posting three groundballs and a caused turnover … Scooped two groundballs in significant action at Lafayette (4/21) … Caused a turnover against Holy Cross (3/24) … Had a groundball in home opener against #10 Villanova (2/18) ... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2011): Played in four games for the Mountain Hawks, vs. Saint Joseph’s (2/12), at Detroit Mercy (3/6), and against Presbyterian (3/19) and Lafayette (4/23) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Saw time in two games for the Mountain Hawks.
AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Saw no varsity action.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Was a two-time All-District selection … Named Defensive Player of the Year … Was named MVP of his high school team … Won the President’s Education Award… Member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Son of Russell and Cristi Flint. Has two brothers, Aiden and Laird.
