AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Strong rookie campaign as a regular at long stick midfield … Finished the season with 13 groundballs and 11 caused turnovers while also winning 1-of-2 faceoffs and scoring a goal … Posted a groundball and caused turnover in Patriot League Championship at #10 Colgate (4/29) … Had a career-high three groundballs along with a caused turnover vs. #19 Army (4/27) … Caused a turnover in big win vs. #18 Bucknell (4/14) … Scooped two groundballs in three straight games: vs. #15 Yale (3/11), Army (3/17) and at #17 Penn State (3/20) … Scored first-career goal in league opener vs. Army (3/17) … Groundball and two caused turnovers as part of huge 9-8 win at #4 North Carolina (3/3) … Posted a career-high two caused turnovers at #19 Penn (2/28) … Finished with two groundballs and a caused turnover in home opener vs. #10 Villanova (2/18) … Had a caused turnover in first collegiate action at Saint Joseph’s (2/11).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Three-year starter for Chaminade High School in Mineola, N.Y. … Was first a midfielder before switching to defense in the middle of his junior year where he went on to become an All-League defenseman … Became the 2010 Long Island Empire Finalist … Also played midfield and defense for Checkmate Lacrosse Club … Played football and JV track … Four-year volunteer youth coach and Senior Leader … Also a four-year member of the Honor Roll … Part of the National Honor Society.
