BEFORE LEHIGH
Wendell, an infielder/outfielder from nearby Easton, Pennsylvania, played his high school ball at Gill St. Bernard’s School in New Jersey. He earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Prep B honors as well as a NJ Senior All-Star Game selection. In the classroom, Wendell earned Spanish honors society and honor roll recognitions and plans to major in business management at Lehigh. Baseball has been a prevalent part of his family’s life, as his father Mike played collegiately at Guilford College.
