BEFORE LEHIGH
Diggins was a star outfielder at Rutgers Prep where he was a .403 hitter and a New Jersey Star Ledger preseason top player to watch in 2013. Diggins helped Rutgers Prep to a Non Public B State Championship in 2013 and two consecutive New Jersey Prep B state championships in 2011 and 2012. He was named All-Somerset County, All-Area and Prep B All-State in 2013. He also played for the nationally-ranked NJ Super 17s team. In the classroom, Diggins was a three year honors student and a member of the Spanish Honor Society.
