Made 17 appearances with one start in his first season with the Mountain Hawks, throwing 26.0 innings with 18 strikeouts for a 3-1 record... Recorded his first win against Manhattan College when he threw 2.2 scoreless frames with just one hit and career-high four strikeouts (3/4)... Reached 3.0 innings pitched on two occasions, the first was against Saint Peter's where he struck out two batters and allowed two hits (3/17) and the other was against Navy (3/25)... Ended his first-year with a couple of wins, which garnered him the Patriot League Player of the Week (5/8), throwing 2.0 scoreless innings with just one hit in his first start on the mound and the other after recording the final two defensive outs in a walk-off victory in extra innings over Holy Cross (5/7)...

O'Neill leaves Morristown as a decorated alumni, finishing up a stellar career. He was a First Team All-Conference selection, a Northwest Jersey selection for the NJ Senior All Star Game and a two-time Northeast Region Perfect Game Preseason All-American Honorable Mention. O'Neill set Morristown's single-season strikeout record (101) during his senior campaign. In 2022, he recorded a 1.33 ERA with 101 strikeouts and only 10 walks over 63.1 innings. In the classroom, O'Neill was a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year member of the honor roll.
