As a junior … appeared in 36 games, starting 25 … three for three in steal attempts … had 21 hits and drove in eight runs … As a sophomore … started nine of the 17 games he played in … had four hits and scored two runs … stole a base in his only attempt … as a freshman … started 14 games at second base … hit three doubles and drove in seven runs … 5-6 in steal attempts … In high school … as a senior, member of the Sussex County Interscholastic League championship team … as a junior, member of the Hackettstown Baseball Tournament championship team and named tournament MVP … two-time first-team all-league honoree … named team MVP and to the second-team all-West Jersey as a senior … earned first-team all-West Jersey and third-team all-state Group 2 recognitions.
