BEFORE LEHIGH
Following a successful senior year at Morristown High School, Mike Palestri was named first team All-Conference, Daily Record All-Area and first team All-Morris County. The right-handed pitcher went 3-1 with a 1.73 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 53.3 innings, while also hitting .380 with 23 RBI to be named to the Perfect Game All-Northeast Regional Honorable Mention team during his senior year.
