As a sophomore … appeared in 13 games … started first career game against Saint Joseph’s on 4/16/09 … struck out 22 batters in 24.1 innings pitched … As a freshman … appeared in one game against archrival Lafayette … pitched two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and striking out three batters … In high school … two time honorable mention All-League … honorable mention All-Main Line … team captain as a senior … recorded modern day school record for most strikeouts in a season … member of the National Honor Society.
