Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh’s tradition of excellence in education and athletics was a perfect combination. I also enjoyed the idea of being able to play close to home.”
As a sophomore…made 11 appearances as a reliever…posted a 4.96 ERA in 16.1 innings…struck out a season-high three batters in two innings against Coppin State on 3/12/08…as a freshman…appeared in 15 games and started two…In high school … team captain his senior year … three-year starter … team won back-to-back District 11 AA championships during his junior and senior seasons … two-year all-area honoree by The Morning Call and the Express-Times … as a junior, struck out 15 batters and drove in the game-winning run in the district semifinal game that lasted eight innings … also played football.
