Why Lehigh?: “The fact that Lehigh was close to home and a small, more personalized college appealed to me. The competitive Division I baseball was a definite plus but the most important thing was that Lehigh was a very reputable school with one of the best engineering schools in the nation. Other schools appealed to me but Lehigh had everything I wanted.”

 

In high school…second team All-Area selection and Carpenter Cup participant…in the top ten all-time at Liberty in HR and fewest strikeouts per AB…recipient of the Dedication and Hustle Award and the Scholar Athlete Award…graduated with highest honors

 

Turcotte on Leary:  “Coach Leary is a good guy. He knows baseball as much as any good coach should and he emphasizes team unity, which is something very important in baseball. He also talks personally with players letting everyone know where they stand and what they need to improve on.”
