Betances comes to Lehigh from Iona Prep and Team Crush Baseball in New York. The second baseman earned several accolades, including an honorable mention in 2023 and a selection to the Lohud ‘Nine Who Shine’. In the classroom, Betances was a National Honor Society member and was in the National English Honor Society. His father was also collegiate baseball player, spending his playing days at Lehman College.
