BEFORE LEHIGH
Wilkes comes to Bethlehem from Reading, Massachusetts and Buckingham Browne and Nichols School. While there, Wilkes was an All-NEPSAC selection as a senior and earned a Golden Glove for catching during his sophomore season. In addition to baseball, Wilkes was a four-year member of the varsity ice hockey team. In the classroom, Wilkes maintained a 3.8 unweighted GPA, was the school geography bee champion and qualified for the state geography bee. Wilkes’ mother, Eileen, played soccer and softball collegiately at Babson College.
