Why Lehigh?: “I chose to attend Lehigh because of the balance of education and athletics. I feel Lehigh will give me the best opportunity to strive not only as a student, but as an athlete, and leader as well. I also fell in love with the community that is here for us.”

As a junior: Appeared in 33 games, primarily as a pinch runner… started six games, with starts at third base, designated player, left field and right field… scored 16 runs… first career hit was a double against Nevada (2/7)… had three sacrifices, including one that ended up plating winning run vs. Villanova (4/30) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

As a sophomore: Appeared in 29 games as a pinch-running specialist… scored 12 runs… stole a base versus Bucknell in Patriot League Tournament (5/10).

As a first-year: Appeared in 36 games with seven starts… saw time at third base, second base and at designated player… used primarily as a pinch runner, where she scored 13 runs… had an RBI and two runs scored in win over North Carolina Central (3/4) … named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

In high school: Offensive Player of the Year as a junior… Leader of the Pack award as a senior… Gamechanger award as a first-year… Valedictorian of high school class… played travel softball for Central California Firecrackers Gold.

Personal: Daughter of Hugo Duenas and Gabriella and Ryan Sauceda… older sister Alexia Arredondo and younger siblings Ryan and Raelynn.
