WHY LEHIGH?
I chose Lehigh for opportunity to get an excellent education while playing baseball close enough to home for my parents to see me play.

ON COACH LEARY
Coach Leary played a huge role in my decision to come to Lehigh because he develops his players to perform at their highest potential both on and off the field.

2019 (SENIOR SEASON)
Missed most of final season due to illness, appeared in three contests out of the bullpen...in return to the mound, pitched six strong innings of long relief at Saint Peter's (5/1), allowing two runs on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts...in final appearance of the season, went two innings of relief vs. Army West Point (5/4), surrendering three hits with an earned run allowed and three strikeouts.

2018 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Made six appearances, including two starts with a record of 1-2…tossed a season-high 5.0 innings in relief with a season-high four strikeouts and did not surrender a run to earn the win at Rider (3/27)…owned a .159 opponent batting average on the season.

2017 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Made nine appearances, including six starts, with three starts against Patriot League opponents…compiled a record of 2-3 and earned his first-career victory against NJIT (3/26) as he tossed 4.0 innings with two hits, one earned run, one walk and one strikeout…tossed a season-high 5.0 innings and picked up his second win of the season against Maryland Eastern Shore (4/26) as he surrendered one earned run on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks.

2016 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Made 11 appearances, including four starts on the mound…struck out 30 batters in 26.2 innings pitched…threw a season-long 5.1 innings while striking out a career-best seven batters at UMES (4/20)…fanned five batters while allowing just one run on three hits in 3.0 innings of game three of the Patriot League Semifinals at Holy Cross (5/15).

BEFORE LEHIGH
McManimon comes to Lehigh after a four-year varsity career at Princeton Day School. A two-time team captain, McManimon was his team leader in wins on the mound during his senior year, but also batted .360 and led his squad in home runs and RBI. His standout season earned him first team New Jersey All-State Prep B, first team All-Prep Mercer County and Trentonian First Team All-Area honors. McManimon also earned second team All-State honors following his sophomore campaign and was named a Preseason Northeast Honorable Mention All-American by Perfect Game prior to the start of his senior season.
