BEFORE LEHIGH
Herman is a 6’2 pitcher from Wyckoff, New Jersey and Ramapo High School. While at Ramapo, Herman was a two-time first team All-League selection, a second team All-Bergen County selection, and a New Jersey third team All-Group 3 selection. Academically, Herman was on the honor roll in all 16 quarters of his high school career and is a member of the National Honors Society. Herman’s aunt, Wendy Szczerbiak, played basketball at Lehigh while his uncle, Wally, is a former NBA all-star who played ten seasons in the league.
