BEFORE LEHIGH
Nell, a 6’4 pitcher from Long Island, starred at The Stony Brook School. As a senior, Nell recorded a 1.47 ERA with 50 strikeouts and a 5-0 record in 33 innings pitched. He was named All-League, won a NYSAIS state championship in 2024 and played in the NHSI USA Baseball Tournament in Cary, Nort Carolina in 2025. In addition to baseball, Nell also played basketball and hockey. In the classroom, Nell graduated in the high honor roll from The Stony Brook School. Nell’s father, Chris, played baseball collegiately at Hofstra.
