There are no concessions sold at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. A food truck may be present for larger meets (i.e. Paul Short Run).

In the event of an emergency, public address announcements will be made with instructions and the Event Staff will assist in directing patrons to appropriate actions.

Entrances

The entrance to Goodman Campus Cross Country Course for all patrons is located behind Goodman Stadium. Tickets or valid Lehigh ID are not required to enter the venues for Lehigh cross country meets with exception of Paul Short Run where each vehicle will have to pay to park.

Please contact Game Operations Manager for first aid needs. There are trainers on site should attention be needed along with medics.

Group Ticket Sales and Promotions

Lehigh does not sell tickets for cross country events. For group promotions or fan experiences (i.e. youth teams and groups) contact Ryan Dilts ryd223@lehigh.edu 610-758-3769.

Lost and Found

All found items and claims of lost items will be in the announcer tent area during the meet and then taken to the Stabler Arena main office post-game. To check if an item was turned in please call 610-758-3770.

Media

All media and press pass requests should be made at least ten days in advance through the Lehigh University Sports Media Relations Office. Any accommodations for radio or television coverage should also be made through the Sports Media Relations Office. Any scheduled post-meet press conference would take place at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course immediately following the meet. Visiting team athletes and head coach may be asked to participate.

Web Broadcast: Lehigh University will not stream cross country meets.

Parking
  • All meet day parking for spectators (visitors, parents, friends, and alumni) is in the Stabler Arena Parking Lots. Spectator parking is not permitted in the Cundey Varsity House parking lot. Cundey Varsity House lot is reserved for Lehigh University Student-Athletes, Coaches and officials only.
  • Spectators must park in a legal parking space or in designated areas as directed by parking attendants. Do not block exit ways or fire lanes.
  • Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Patrons are not permitted to save spaces for future arrivals.
  • No parking is permitted along Goodman Drive or on the roadway between Rauch Fieldhouse and Stabler Arena.
  • All parking is subject to change as directed by event staff.
  • Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Please lock your vehicle. Lehigh Athletics is not responsible for fire, theft, damage and/or loss of the vehicle or any content.
DeMassa and Slavin
Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course: air horns (or other noisemakers), alcohol, animals (except service animals), beverage containers, coolers, drones, electronic cigarettes, tobacco, firearms or weapons of any kind, fireworks, food and beverage (with the exception of child care), and laser pointers.

Re-Entry

Re-Entry is permitted at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.

Restrooms

Restrooms can be found on the main concourse level inside Goodman Stadium or at any one of the surrounding port-a-john units.

Rideshare

Uber, Lyft, or Taxi vehicles will be encouraged to pick up and drop off passengers at curb in front of Stabler Arena near the flag poles. For any patrons utilizing these services, the patron should direct the driver to Goodman Campus.

Signs

Handheld signs in good taste are permitted at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course provided they do not interfere with the view of another guest. Signs which are obscene, potentially offensive to others, or which will block views of other guests are prohibited at Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.

Sportsmanship

Lehigh University and the Patriot League promote good sporting behavior by student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. We encourage everyone to actively support all participants of the game and ask that you express your enthusiasm in a respectful and sporting-like manner. Please note that the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages (and use of tobacco) also are prohibited. Spectators are not allowed on the course at any time. Our events management staff has the responsibility to enforce this policy and may choose to eject fans that do not comply. 

Tailgating

Note: there are no indoor tailgating facilities available for any groups - Lehigh or Visiting

PARENTS, FRIENDS AND ALUMNI OF LEHIGH UNIVERSITY TAILGATES & RECEPTIONS:   

The Covert Pavilion is designated for the use of Athletic Department teams and participants. This pavilion has been made possible by gifts from alumni and friends. 

  • A tailgate is not to last for more than 1 ½ hours following the end of the competition. 
  • Pavilion users are responsible for set up, and breakdown of all pre and post-game tailgates/receptions. 
  • Prior to the game; parents can drop off food and beverages [NON-ALCOHOLIC] as conditions warrant. Fire lanes prohibit any parking adjacent to the Covert Pavilion. Parents and spectators should park in the Stabler Parking lots.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at the Covert Pavilion. If the group wishes to consume alcohol, the reception is now classified as a tailgate and must take place in the parking lots. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are not permitted at any competition site due to Lehigh University, Patriot League and NCAA policy (only permitted in designated parking area.).
  • Grilling (gas or charcoal) is permitted. Please be sure that hot coals are properly disposed and not placed in trash cans that are provided. Due to Bethlehem City fire regulations, portable grills must be at least 10ft from the Pavilion. Open fires are prohibited.
  • Please use the trash & recycling cans provided. 
  • All athletes should use the locker room facilities immediately at the conclusion of their meet and then join the post-game receptions. 
  • In the event of a medical emergency do not call 911, but call Lehigh Police 610-758-4200.  For all non-medical emergencies please see the Athletics Facilities and Event Staff member on duty at the game venue.

 

VISITING TEAM PARENTS AND FANS TAILGATES & RECEPTIONS:   

  • As with all tailgating at Lehigh; there are no indoor facilities available in the case of bad weather. 
  • A tailgate is not to last for more than 1 ½ hours following the end of the competition. 
  • All athletes should use the locker room facilities immediately at the conclusion of their meet and then join the post-game receptions. 
  • The Rust Family Pavilion was constructed primarily for the use of our football alumni during the football season. It may serve as a site for visiting team tailgating as scheduling permits. Please note that there are no lights or power at the Rust Family Pavilion.
  • If the Rust Family Pavilion is not available the remaining option is the general parking lots.
  • Tailgating is permitted only in areas where the flow of traffic is not obstructed and must comply with parking regulations. Please limit your tailgate to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Please do not set tables, chairs or coolers up in adjacent parking spaces. No tents or awnings may be erected in parking spaces or in such a manner as to impede the flow of traffic. We ask for your cooperation since space can be at a premium.
  • Alcoholic beverages are permitted in designated parking area. Beer kegs and/or excessive quantities of alcohol (wine, spirits and/or beer) are not permitted in the parking areas. Consumption of alcohol by underage drinkers will not be tolerated.  Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are not permitted at any competition site due to Lehigh University, Patriot League, and NCAA policy.
  • Grilling (gas or charcoal) is permitted. Please be sure that hot coals are properly disposed and not placed in trash cans that are provided. Due to Bethlehem City fire regulations, portable grills must be at least 10ft from the Pavilion. Open fires are prohibited.
  • Please dispose of any trash, containers and food items in the appropriate trash or recycling containers which are provided throughout the grounds. 
  • In the event of a medical emergency do not call 911, but call Lehigh Police 610-758-4200. For all non-medical emergencies please see the Athletics Facilities and Event Staff member on duty at the game venue.
Tickets/Comps

No tickets or comps are required for cross country events as cross country events are not ticketed, with some exceptions (i.e. Paul Short Run).

Visiting Team Information

PARKING - All team vehicle parking will be available in the Stabler Arena 

parking lots. A locker room attendant will direct your team vehicle to the

appropriate location. All parking is subject to change as directed by event staff. 

LOCKER FACILITIES - Located in Goodman Stadium House

(communicated by your locker room attendant). The facility will be open 1½

hours prior to meet start time. A locker room attendant will direct your team to the

appropriate room. No locks or towels will be provided. Please have your team

shower and change directly following the end of the competition. The locker

facilities will be available for one hour after an event. Locker rooms are

available for team members and official travel party ONLY.
