Why Lehigh? “The one thing that made my decision to come to Lehigh concrete was the 
official visit. I was able to get a good feeling of what it would be like to be a student-athlete 
at such a fine institution and I loved the way that felt. Meeting some players and the coaching 
staff further solidified the decision to join a team that I can both contribute to and learn from.”

As a freshman … led the league with a .420 batting average, ranked 15^th nationally … First team All-Patriot League selection … recipient of the J. Daniel Nolan Award, given to top male freshman athlete … recorded 58 hits while starting at center field.

Ercolano on Leary:  “Playing for Coach Leary is a special thing, because he has a passion 
for the game that is shown through the entire team. Winning is not his only goal, but rather 
establishing a well-rounded team based on both pride and sportsmanship is something that 
really makes it fun to play for him.”
