2013 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Made 12 appearances…threw a season-high 2.1 innings and struck out two batters against North Carolina A&T…fanned three batters while walking only one in a single inning against Lafayette.
2012 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Appeared in 10 games on the mound, making three starts…Allowed one unearned run over 7.0 innings of work from March 25 to April 4 (two games)…Tossed a perfect inning of relief against Binghamton…Allowed one unearned run on seven hits and struck out two over 6.0 innings and earned the win against Delaware State…Threw 2.0 innings of relief, allowing one run on two hits at Bucknell…Tossed a season-high 4.0 perfect innings of relief while striking out five to earn the save against Coppin State.
BEFORE LEHIGH:
Tato was a key reliever for Florida Christian High School, pitching in eight games last year while striking out seven for the Panthers, ranked 24th in the state of Florida. The team was 23-6 before falling in the state regional semifinals. Stellar in the classroom, Tato made the Honor Roll all four years of high school. He was also a member of Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society).
