2014 (SENIOR SEASON)
Strong senior season with a 5-1 record in 11 starts on the mound…finished the season with a 3.12 ERA and a team-best 62 strikeouts, which also ranked fourth in the Patriot League…threw 8.1 innings of a 6-0 shutout in game one of the Patriot League semifinals at Army while striking out a career-high ten batters…tallied an ERA of 2.87 in regular-season league play with a 3-1 record with the victories coming against Army, Holy Cross and Lafayette…pitched a complete-game three-hit 1-0 shutout of Holy Cross and 6.1 innings of a 3-0 shutout at Army…earned a non-league win and his first victory of the season at Coppin State…awarded the Anderson-Hartzell Pitching Award at the end of the season.
2013 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Played in 11 games, starting all but one of them…threw a season-high seven innings, struck out seven and gave up just three hits to get a victory against Coppin State…tossed 6.2 innings on the mound against LIU Brooklyn without giving up an earned run and striking out seven…fanned a season-high eight batters against rival Lafayette…led the Mountain Hawks’ pitching staff in complete games (2), wins (5), innings pitched (55.2) and strikeouts (52)…finished third in the Patriot League with a 3.56 ERA.
2012 (SOPHOMOREÂ SEASON)
Appeared in 12 games, making six starts…allowed two runs on six hits in 3.2 innings of relief in the second half of a doubleheader against Iona to earn his first collegiate win…tossed 2.0 scoreless innings of relief against Binghamton…struck out a season-high five batters over 4.2 innings at Davidson…threw 1.2 scoreless innings and struck out two at Army.

Appeared in eight games, starting three…threw 0.2 scoreless innings in his first collegiate appearance against Ohio University…allowed two earned runs and struck out two in 4.1 innings against Iona in his first collegiate start.

Colin Gotzon, a pitcher from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, was named first team All-Area by the Morning Call and second team All-Area by the Express Times in his junior season. As a senior, Gotzon was named first team All- Conference by the Express Times and second team All- Area by the Morning Call. Gotzon was named Liberty High School Pitcher of the Year in 2009 and 2010, carrying a 14-0 record throughout his high school career. A member of the 2007 district runner-up team, Gotzon was a scholar athlete, and a member of the national honors society, graduating with highest honors.
