As a sophomore … started in 47 of the Mountain Hawks 48 games … led the team in every major offensive category … Named to the First-Team All-Patriot League … finished fifth in the Patriot League in both slugging percentage .604 and on-base percentage .457 … recorded 16 multi-hit games … As a freshman … made 41 starts in the outfield … second on the team in batting, with a .313 average … third on the team with 47 hits, 10 stolen bases and 28 runs scored … led the Mountain Hawks with four triples … tied for team lead with 28 RBI … tied for second on the team with three home runs … recorded 12 multi-hit games ... hit safely a career-high four times against Villanova on 3/25/08 … In high school … All-League honoree in 2006 and 2007 … named to the 2007 All-Southeastern Pennsylvania Team by the Philadelphia Inquirer…team MVP in 2007 … awarded with the scholars diploma … member of National Honor Society … brother of Rob Russell.
