Why Lehigh?: “I chose Lehigh because of its outstanding education and I also wanted to play Division I baseball close to home so my family can see me play.”
As a sophomore … started 41 games as a utility player and made 10 appearances as a pitcher … pitched a complete game shutout against Navy on 4/5/09 … hit his first career home run against Florida Atlantic on 3/3/09 … drove in a career-high four runs against Saint Joseph’s on 3/19/09 … As a freshman … made 11 appearances, including six starts … tied for third on the team with 29 strikeouts … pitched a complete game shutout against Penn on 4/23/08 … one of two players to pitch at least 50 innings … In high school … two year member of the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team … The Morning Call’s Pitcher of the Year in 2007 … All-Area, All-Lehigh Valley Conference, and Lehigh Valley Legion All-Star Showcase selections in 2007 … Lehigh Valley All-Star Legion Showcase selection and participant in Keystone Games in 2006
