In high school…served as team captain in both junior and senior seasons…amassed 121 varsity starts as a catcher…set school’s home run record with six in 2007, then broke that record with nine in 2008…hit .463 with 47 RBI his senior season…was selected First Team All-Inter-Academy twice, a Carpenter Cup All Star twice, First Team All-Area (Norristown Times Herald and The Intelligencer), Second Team All-City (Philadelphia Daily News) and Third Team All-Southeastern Pa. (Philadelphia Inquirer)…received the 2008 Bernard Dallas Award by Germantown Academy, given to the senior athlete who exemplifies the most sportsmanship and leadership at the school.
