As a freshman…made 41 starts in the outfield…second on the team in batting, with a .313 average…third on the team with 47 hits, 10 stolen bases and 28 runs scored…led the Mountain Hawks with four triples…tied for team lead with 28 RBI…tied for second on the team with three home runs…recorded 12 multi-hit games...hit safely a career-high four times against Villanova on 3/25/08…In high school…All-League honoree in 2006 and 2007…named to the 2007 All-Southeastern Pennsylvania Team by the Philadelphia Inquirer…team MVP in 2007…awarded with the scholars diploma…member of National Honor Society…brother of Rob Russell
