Why Lehigh?: “I chose Lehigh because of its outstanding education and I also wanted to play Division I baseball close to home so my family can see me play.”
As a freshman…made 11 appearances, including six starts…tied for third on the team with 29 strikeouts…pitched a complete game shutout against Penn on 4/23/08…one of two players to pitch at least 50 innings…in high school…two year member of the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team…The Morning Call’s Pitcher of the Year in 2007…All-Area, All-Lehigh Valley Conference, and Lehigh Valley Legion All-Star Showcase selections in 2007…Lehigh Valley All-Star Legion Showcase selection and participant in Keystone Games in 2006.
