As a sophomore…started nine of the 17 games he played in…had four hits and scored two runs…stole a base in his only attempt…as a freshman…started 14 games at second base…hit three doubles and drove in seven runs…5-6 in steal attempts…In high school … as a senior, member of the Sussex County Interscholastic League championship team … as a junior, member of the Hackettstown Baseball Tournament championship team and named tournament MVP … two-time first-team all-league honoree … named team MVP and to the second-team all-West Jersey as a senior … earned first-team all-West Jersey and third-team all-state Group 2 recognitions.
