Why Lehigh?: “I chose Lehigh because it gave me the opportunity to play baseball at a Division I level, but most of all, it offered chance to get a great education.”
As a freshman…appeared in six games at pitcher, and 12 games in the outfield and DH…went six innings and gave up two runs in only start against Penn…In high school … four year starter … earned conference all-star selections in 2003, 2004 and 2005 … Hugheville’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2005, leading the team in batting average, hits, RBIs, home runs and slugging percentage … also lettered in football and basketball … and graduated fifth in class … Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee.
