AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Patriot League Goalie of the Year and First Team All-League honoree … Started all 17 games, finishing second in the nation in goals against average (6.75) and fourth in save percentage (59.7) … Also scooped 31 groundballs and caused a turnover … Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week four times (2/13, 3/5, 3/12, 3/26) and Rookie of the Week twice (3/19, 4/16). Earned a Patriot League award one stretch of four straight weeks … Also garnered Cascade National Rookie of the Week twice, including after the NCAA First Round Game. Tied a career-high 16 saves, allowing only 10 goals against #10 Maryland (5/13) … Made 14 saves in Patriot League Title Game at #10 Colgate (4/29) … Had four stops, allowing only six goals vs. #19 Army (4/27) … Made 10 saves while allowing only four goals over first three quarters at Lafayette (4/21) … Stopped eight-of-16 in a strong effort vs. #18 Bucknell and a potent Bison offense (4/14) … Had a career-high 16 saves, including one at the end of regulation to force overtime at #17 Colgate (4/7) … Stopped six-of-10 at #19 Navy (3/30) while holding another team to four goals or less … Made seven saves, allowing only three goals against Holy Cross (3/24) in another dominant effort … Second straight double-digit save performance (and fourth of the season), stopping 10-of-15 at #17 Penn State (3/20) … Tied a career-high 13 saves while only allowing six goals in Patriot League opener vs. Army (3/17) … Posted eight saves against #15 Yale (3/11) … Stopped 10-of-12 shots in 6-2 win at VMI (3/6) … Strong at #4 UNC (3/3), making eight saves, including one with 27 seconds left to preserve a huge 9-8 win. Also posted a career-high five groundballs … Finished with seven saves, while allowing only four goals at #19 Penn (2/28) … Pitched Lehigh’s first shutout in 40 years (1972), making four saves against Manhattan (2/25) … Second-straight double-digit save performance, making 12 stops vs. #10 Villanova (2/18) … Made 13 saves, allowing only four goals in first collegiate action at Saint Joseph’s (2/11). Was later named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the efforts.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Was a four-sport standout in lacrosse, soccer, football and winter track at Mount Sinai High School … Four-year varsity lacrosse player, earning All-Division/All-County three times and team MVP twice … Also served as captain for a year while being named First Team All-Long Island (as chosen by New York Newsday) … Was high school’s 2011 Outstanding Athlete of the Year, Suffolk County Athlete of the Year nominee and North Shore Sun Athlete of the Year … Four-year varsity starter and three-time All-League/All-Conference honoree in soccer … Two-time team captain and team MVP … Also earned Team MVP in football … Competed in winter track for three years … In the classroom, was a 12-time Scholar Athlete … Earned New York State Advanced Regents Diploma.
