AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): 2012 First Team All-Patriot League honoree … Team’s top long stick defenseman … Finished with a career-high 31 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers (both second on the team among close defensemen) … Also posted a goal and assist, his first career points … Named a Second Team Midseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse … Scored first-career goal at a key time in Patriot League Championship at #10 Colgate (4/29). Goal came in transition, and man-down, to break a three-goal Raiders’ run. Also had a groundball and two caused turnovers … Finished with two groundballs and a caused turnover in Patriot League Semifinals vs. #19 Army (4/27). BEFORE LEHIGH: Four-year letterwinner on Emmaus High School’s lacrosse team … Served as team captain as a junior and senior … Named All-PVLL sophomore year and All-LVC junior and senior years … Was a member of the Philly Under Armor All-American Underclassmen Team in 2009 … Among Inside Lacrosse’s top 100 incoming freshmen … Multi-sport athlete, garnering All-LVC as a linebacker on the football team … Team MVP senior year … East Penn Male Athlete of the Year in 2010 … Strong in the classroom, as an Emmaus Football Scholar Athlete while cracking the honor roll.
