In 2020-21: Wrestled four official bouts, posting 1-3 record… won extra match 9-3 over Pitt’s Ryan Michaels following season-opening dual… bumped up to 149 to make lone dual appearance against Rider in dual finale.
In 2019-20: Went 1-2 in official bouts… opened season with fourth place finish at 133 at Princeton Open… only official victory was 55 second fall… competed at 141 against Penn State in Dec. 6 dual.
In 2018-19: Went 4-3 competing at 141 pounds… went 2-1 in his pool at Journeymen Collegiate Classic… finished third at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic… three of his seven bouts came against Army’s P.J. Ogunsanya… had a pin and a major decision at Hitchcock Classic.
In 2017-18: Deferred eligibility… went 12-4 competing unattached in open tournaments… began season with runner-up finish at 133 at Wilkes Open… moved up to 141 to win Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic and finish sixth at Edinboro Open… competed at Midlands Championships in late December… had three falls and eight bonus wins.
In 2016-17: Posted 14-7 record, competing at 133… was slated to defer eligibility but wrestled six duals in January after Scott Parker was injured at Southern Scuffle… earned win in dual debut at Navy… led Lehigh with seven falls… nine of 14 wins produced bonus points… finished first at Wilkes Open… earned third place finishes at Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open and Warriors Winter Open… opened college career at East Stroudsburg Open.
In high school: four-time state qualifier and three-time place winner… 174-23 career record… two-time Lancaster-Lebanon League AA Wrestler of the Year… finished fourth, second and third in last three trips to state tournament… posted 85-6 record in final two seasons… Lancaster-Lebanon League co-wins leader… PAWF runner-up in freestyle.
Personal: Son of Mark and Jane… has seven siblings.
