WHY LEHIGH? “Lehigh is a great academic school and has a fantastic lacrosse program. I loved the campus and I felt like I really related to the coaches and their vision for the lacrosse program.”
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Strong freshman season, playing in 15 games with 29 groundballs (sixth on the team) and four caused turnovers … Dished an assist … Had three groundballs in the Patriot League Quarterfinals at Bucknell (4/21) … Scooped two groundballs against Lafayette (4/17) … Groundball and caused turnover in win at #18/14 Stony Brook (4/12) … Posted first-career point (an assist), a caused turnover and a career-high six groundballs against #14/18 Princeton (4/7) … Scooped three groundballs at Colgate (4/4) … Career-high four groundballs at Holy Cross (3/28) … Tallied two groundballs at Monmouth (3/24) … Scooped a groundball against #5/6 Denver (3/17) … Had a groundball and caused turnover at Navy (3/14) … Two groundballs and a caused turnover at #14/15 Villanova (3/10) … Scooped a pair of groundballs in league opener vs. Boston University (2/21) … Tallied a groundball at Furman (2/14) in collegiate debut.
BEFORE LEHIGH: 2014 Male Athlete of the Year for Hudson High School … Enjoyed a stellar high school career as a two-time US Lacrosse All-American … Was also a two-time first team All-State honoree … Received the Adam Hamilton Award as NOSLCA Player of the Year and was named the Cleveland Plain Dealer (and Cleveland.com) Player of the Year … Team captain and Offensive MVP … Ohio Attackman and Player of the Year as a junior … Set a school record for points in a season with 121 (previous record was 104 set in 2006) … Named an Under Armour Underclass Midwest All-American and team Offensive MVP … As a sophomore, Lori earned first team All-Region, second team All-State and Brine All-American (Ohio) … Led Hudson High School in scoring … Enjoyed success from day one, earning Rookie of the Year honors and Brine All-America recognition as a freshman … Hudson High School won the Division I State Championship … Also a standout hockey player, Lori garnered the Ray “Buck” Hyser Award, his high school’s most prestigious award which honored outstanding character, leadership and citizenship … Was a Don Friedman award winner, Player of the Year for Greater Cleveland High School Hockey, member of the All-State Team, first team All-Division and first team All-League … Was a Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star and was selected for the Cleveland Senior All-Star Game … Led the league in scoring during his tenure, setting a team all-time record with 200 career points (previous record was 194 set in 2005) … Two-time hockey captain and Offensive MVP … Also strong in the classroom, posting a stellar 3.92 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society … Put together the HHS Business Plan of the Year (2013-14) … Earned several honors in the community as a 2013 Volunteer of the Year for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland … Garnered a National Award of Service … Was a Sports Ministry out of Christ Community Chapel volunteer … Represented high school in Fuel Up To Play60 … Was a YoungLife high school ministries participant.
