2015 (SENIOR SEASON)
Co-captain who saw action in 49 games, making 44 starts at first base…recorded the game-winning RBI in game three of the Patriot League Championship series at Navy to propel Lehigh to a 4-3, 10-inning victory and the program’s second league crown…hit the game-winning home run, his first career dinger, in a 5-4 victory at Lafayette…knocked in two runs in win against Bucknell and Holy Cross…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Saw action in 46 games, making 43 starts, as Lehigh’s starting first baseman…named second team All-Patriot League…hit .258 in Patriot League play…posted five multiple RBI games, including a trio of three-RBI contests, and nine multiple hit games…knocked in three runs against Mount St. Mary’s, Maine and Western Michigan…hit .500 (6-for-12) against Bucknell during the regular season with two RBI and two runs scored.
2013 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Played in 43 games…went 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs against Maryland-Eastern Shore…had a season-high three hits and scored three runs against Coppin State.
2012 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Appeared in 33 games, making 25 starts for the Mountain Hawks…finished the season batting .311…put together an eight-game hitting streak from March 25 – April 4, going 10-for-28 (.280) with three doubles, four RBI, four runs scored, and raising his average from .296 to .308…went a combined 3-for-6 with a triple, five RBI and two runs scored in a doubleheader against Iona…went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the second half of a doubleheader against Binghamton…reached base safely in seven consecutive games from April 17 – April 28…went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI at Navy…collected seven multi-hit and five multi-RBI games on the season…finished the season going 9-for-19 (.474) with four RBI in the final six games.
BEFORE LEHIGH
One of three local products in the Class of 2015, Faust was a four-year starter, 2011 captain and team MVP at Allentown Central Catholic. He was the first team All-Lehigh Valley Conference third baseman as both a junior and senior. In addition, Faust was named first team All-Area as a senior and cracked the second team a year earlier. He currently ranks first in school history in career hits (10), doubles (30), home runs (6) and runs batted in (73) since 2000. Also a star football player, Faust was a first team All-Lehigh Valley Conference and second team All-Area Linebacker in 2009. The 2010 captain, he was awarded the Football Scholar-Athlete Award that year and was also a member of the National Honor Society. Faust helped lead Allentown Central Catholic to the PIAA 3A State Championship, going a perfect 16-0 in 2010. They were also Lehigh Valley Conference and District XI 3A Champions that year. His squad enjoyed success the year prior as well, advancing to the State Quarterfinals in 2009.
