Heath Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. Junior Kasey Heath was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the league announced Thursday afternoon.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team in men's lacrosse, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or key contributor in his sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their institution are not eligible for the honor. The Academic All-Patriot League men's lacrosse team includes 12 student-athletes and is selected by the league's sports information directors.
Kasey Heath, an environmental studies major with a 3.57 GPA, is a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection and a two-time Dean's List honoree.
Kasey Heath ranks second in the Patriot League in both save percentage (.540) and saves per game (13). A Patriot League Second Team selection, Heath's season was highlighted by a career-high 25-save performance against Princeton.
Tuesday evening in the Patriot League quarterfinals, Kasey Heath made 15 saves and came up with multiple timely stops to help preserve Lehigh's victory, while also delivering the game-winning assist in the overtime win over Boston University.
