Jaeger Earns Second Patriot League Player Of The Week Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Fifth-year Sean Jaeger was named the Patriot League Men's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. Jaeger has now won the award twice this season.
Jaeger went 3-0 in Lehigh's first weekend of Patriot League competition. Against Navy on Saturday, Jaeger defeated Aniketh Ayinala 6-4, 6-4 at number two singles while also winning 6-2 alongside Alex Van Lumich at number one doubles. Against Colgate on Sunday, Jaeger earned a 7-5 win with Van Lumich on doubles court one while his singles match at number one was left unfinished.
On the season, Jaeger has posted a 6-7 (1-0 PL) singles record and a 10-4 (2-0 PL) mark in doubles competition.
The Mountain Hawks went 2-0 this past week, defeating Navy 4-3 in the team's first win over the Midshipmen since 2013 and sweeping Colgate 4-0 to open Patriot League play undefeated.
Lehigh returns to play on Friday, April 3 at 2 p.m. on the road against Loyola Maryland.
