Five Mountain Hawks Earn Top 10 Seeds as NCAA Brackets Announced

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh's six NCAA qualifiers learned their seeds and first round opponents Wednesday night as seeds and brackets for next week's NCAA Championships in Cleveland were officially announced.
All five of Lehigh's individual EIWA champions earned top 10 seeds, the first time since 2018 the Mountain Hawks had five top 10 seeds.
Graduate student Sheldon Seymour earned the No. 4 seed at 125 and will open with Pitt's Tyler Chappell, the No. 29 seed. Seymour's first round match is the only rematch for a Lehigh qualifier this season.
Sophomore Luke Stanich is seeded fifth at 141 and will face Arizona State's Pierson Manville, the No. 28 seed in round oe.
Heavyweight Nathan Taylor is the No. 6 seed and will begin his tournament against No. 27 Hunter Catka of Rutgers.
Senior Max Brignola is the fourth Mountain Hawk seeded in the top eight as he earned the No. 7 seed at 165. Brignola's first round opponent is No. 26 Tyler Lillard of Indiana.
The fifth top 10 seed is sophomore Logan Rozynski, who is seeded 10th at 157. Rozynski will face No. 23 Kaleb Burgess of Buffalo in round one.
Lehigh's sixth qualifier, junior Rylan Rogers, is seeded 16th at 184. His first round opponent is No. 17 Ian Bush of West Virginia.
Seeds and brackets remain subject to change until the start of the tournament.
Action at the 95th NCAA Championships begins Thursday, March 19 from Rocket Arena in Cleveland and runs through Saturday, March 21.
