Mountain Hawks Win Seven Brackets Saturday at Bloomsburg Open

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – In an "off" weekend for the Lehigh men's wrestling team, the Mountain Hawks ended up sending a sizeable contingent to Saturday's Bloomsburg Open. Nineteen Mountain Hawks wrestled Saturday with six competing attached and 13 wrestling unattached.

Lehigh wrestlers won seven weight classes on the day, including an all-Lehigh final between Jadon Skellenger and Anthony Evanitsky at 157B that was not contested. Both wrestlers were among the unattached contingent. The Mountain Hawks' champions Saturday were first-year Mason Ziegler (125), sophomore Luke Stanich (141A), sophomore Matt Repos (149A), sophomore Logan Rozynski (157A), sophomore Jared Schoppe (184) and graduate student JT Davis (197). Ziegler, Staich, Rozynski and Davis were all competing attached, while the other two champs competed unattached. Rozynski went 3-0 in his first action since the Dec.7 Penn State dual.

Five other Mountain Hawks earned top six places Saturday. Senior Carter Bailey finished second up at 149B competing attached and first-year Calvin Lachman was the runner-up at 285 competing unattached. First-year Seamus Mack took third place at 141B and true first-year Brady Collins finished fourth at 165. Sophomore Ryan Crookham finished sixth at 133, winning his first two bouts before forfeiting out of the tournament. Crookham was Lehigh's sixth attached entrant.

Others who competed for Lehigh included sophomore Logan Wadle (125), junior Owen Quinn (165), first-year Vaughn Spencer (165), first-year Bekhruz Sadriddinov (174), senior Keegan Gagnon (184), and first-year Rowan Holmes (285).

The Mountain Hawks will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 1 when they travel to Army West Point for an EIWA dual beginning at 2 p.m.

The 2025-26 Lehigh wrestling season is presented by the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.
