Larrea Earns Patriot League Rookie Of The Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – First-year forward Luciano Larrea was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native tallied one goal and two points across two matches this past week.
Larrea played extended minutes against Rider on August 25 due to injury, and the first-year took full advantage of his opportunity. Larrea netted his first-career goal in the 84th minute that proved to be the game-winner. The first-year then played 35 minutes in Lehigh's home-opening victory over Columbia.
Seniors Sam Davis and Yusef Gueye each earned an honorable mention for their efforts in what was a 2-0 week for the Mountain Hawks.
The Mountain Hawks return to the pitch tomorrow at 6 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex to take on Old Dominion.
