O'Hearen Wins Patriot League Pitcher Of The Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore Liam O'Hearen was selected as the Patriot League Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. A Lehigh student-athlete has now won a weekly award in each of the past three weeks.
O'Hearen was spectacular in game two of Lehigh's doubleheader against Army on Saturday, tossing a complete 9.0 inning gem with 11 strikeouts, five hits, zero walks and zero runs. The sophomore tallied career-highs in both innings pitched and strikeouts in only his second career start.
On the season, O'Hearen boasts a 2.05 ERA in 22.0 innings with 29 strikeouts, 14 hits, 11 walks, five earned runs and a 3-1 record.
The Mountain Hawks will next take on the Rider Broncs on the road in the first round of the Liberty Bell Classic on Tuesday, March 24 at 3 p.m.
