
Lehigh Sets School Record in 400-Yard Medley Relay at Patriots

LEWISBURG, Pa. The Mountain Hawks concluded day two of the Patriot League Championships at the Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg on a high note Thursday night.
Lehigh's 400-yard medley relay team — Aaron Williams Ben Kisker, Jack DeVilbiss, and Tim Norris — set a school record with a time of 3:16.22, securing a fifth-place finish. This marks the second school record the Mountain Hawks have broken in the relays at the Patriot League Championships.
First-year Jack Deppe had Lehigh's best individual performance of the day in his first-ever Patriot League meet, finishing 13th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.64 to earn 14 points for the Mountain Hawks. The first-year swimmers continued to impress, as Will Pestrichelli advanced to the C-Final and placed 24th in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:36.08.
Lehigh added 14 more points in the 50-yard freestyle, with three swimmers competing in the C-Final. DeVilbiss finished 19th (20.57), Williams placed 20th (20.63), Norris came in 22nd (20.71).
In the one-meter dive, senior Jack Grotke earned a 29th-place finish with a score of 153 points.
Lehigh also set two school records in the time trails on Thursday with first-year Tristan Ronayne setting a school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:46.85 and DeVilbiss setting a school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.13.
After day two of the championships, the men's team sits in sixth place with 177 points.
