BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball hits the road for a Saturday battle against Holy Cross Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hart Center in Worcester, Mass. The Mountain Hawks will look to keep it going, having won their last nine games. Lehigh is 20-4 (11-1 PL) and the Crusaders are 15-8 (8-4 PL).

The last time Lehigh won 10 consecutive games was during the 2009-10 season. Four Mountain Hawks finished in double figures in the 74-56 win over Navy on Feb. 12, led by junior forward Lily Fandre, who scored 17 points. Fifth-year Maddie Albrecht tallied 16 points and seniors Meghan O'Brien and Colleen McQuillen both finished with 10 points.

Lehigh outscored the Midshipmen 17-3 in the fourth quarter to secure the victory. The Mountain Hawks were effective from the field, going 29-of-55 (52.7%) and 8-of-24 from beyond the arc (33.3%).

Senior guard Ella Stemmer is one point away from scoring her 1,00th career point and is looking to become the 24th player in program history to achieve the honor. The Ann Arbor, Mich., native is also one three-pointer away from netting her 200th career three-pointer and would become the third player in program history to make 200 three-pointers.

The Crusaders are coming off of a 73-51 loss to Colgate on Feb. 12. Colgate outscored Holy Cross 30-13 in the third frame to down the Crusaders. Meg Cahalan netted a team-high of 13 points in the loss and Lindsay Berger followed with 12 points.

Simone Foreman averages a team-high 16.1 points per game but has not played since Jan. 8 against Navy. Lindsay Berger is second on the team in scoring with 11.2 points per game.

Saturday's game will mark the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Lehigh won the first meeting 60-47 on Feb. 1. The Mountain Hawks started the game on a 10-0 run and they would hold the lead for the remainder of the game. Albrecht finished with a game-high of 22 points.

The Mountain Hawks are 32-50 all-time against the Crusaders. If Lehigh wins on Saturday, it would mark the first time the Mountain Hawks capture the season series over Holy Cross since the 2021 season.

Next up, the Mountain Hawks return home on Wednesday at Bucknell at 6 p.m. in Lehigh's Pride Game, presented by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.
